THE Fox Willow STORY
We started Fox Willow to build a community of people who love animals, to share and find ways to make positive impacts, to promote animal well-being, and to offer better solutions for dog beds and pet products. By starting from scratch, designing around our furry friends, and testing, testing and testing some more, we’ve created a new approach to dog beds. Along the way, we also listened to all of our friends and future customers about what they really wanted in a pet bed. We learned a lot and are deeply grateful for their passion, honesty, and hopes, and the best part is, we’re just getting started. We are excited about what all of you will share with us!
So, why pet beds. Well, like most of us, ideas come from the need to solve a problem. The Fox Willow Pet Bed idea generated from trying to solve for the waste created from having to throw out a bed after a bad tummy ache or a missed trip outside to take care of business, the frustration and tears when attempting to take apart a bed for a much needed wash, not to mention the fact that they’re just plain impossible to put back together after that much needed cleaning, and, most importantly, the desire to offer a thick, cushioned spot for a good sleep or a little wrestling with the dog pack.
Our belief is that your pet buying experience should be easy and fun. We also believe that every pet deserves to be safe, loved and given every chance at happiness. Together, we can help to nurture them in ways they all need and one by one, make a difference.
Our Family
I’ve worked with dog and horse rescue organizations since I was seven. I loved spending Saturdays washing rescue dogs to meet potential families and evenings or weekends taking care of horses at my local barn. I grew up believing that all animals deserved love and a chance at a good home. That passion has remained with me throughout life’s adventures and it’s incredible to watch the same joy and love from my daughter as we take care of our four rescue dogs, five rescue horses and crazy calico cat that walked into our home one 104 degree day in July. They fill us with happiness, scare us when they’re ill and fill our lives with purpose and hope. We hope you enjoy the pictures of our silly family and more importantly, that you share pics of your cuties on our website or Instagram account for others to enjoy. Thank you for all you do for them and other animals in need.
With love,
Genell
